Pay Rate : Up to $65000 - $70000 depending on applicable experience

Addison Group is excited to partner with a rapidly growing construction company in their search for a Payroll Specialist with extensive experience processing weekly certified payrolls.
This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of critical payroll operations, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. Our client is looking for a detail-oriented payroll professional with expertise in union payroll, multi-state tax compliance, and hands-on experience with systems like ADP, Workforce Now, or UKG. LCPTracker experience and certified payroll reporting is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in end-to-end payroll processing and a proactive approach to improving payroll procedures.
Location : Onsite in Vadnais Heights, MN
Note : Only local Minnesota or Western Wisconsin candidates will be considered.
Key Responsibilities :
- Process certified payroll for 200 employees, ensuring accurate and timely bi-weekly payroll processing.
- Prepare and file multi-state payroll tax documentation, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Manage certified payroll reporting, including LCP Tracker, and ensure adherence to prevailing wage laws.
- Conduct routine payroll audits to validate payroll and benefits data, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Stay up to date with changing payroll legislation and tax laws, implementing necessary updates.
- Maintain payroll records and manage deductions, garnishments, and tax withholdings.
- Work closely with employees to resolve payroll discrepancies, ensuring clear and timely communication.
- Support annual benefits open enrollment, providing employees with accurate information on changes and updates.
- Construction industry experience is required.
