Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of experience in an HR Generalist role, with a focus on labor and employee relations.
- Industry knowledge in transportation or logistics is a plus.
- Strong understanding of employment laws, compensation, and HR best practices.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across all levels.
- Proven strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee employment, employee relations, labor relations, compensation, benefits, performance management, and workforce planning to align with organizational strategy.
- Work with the Area HR Director to develop forward-thinking HR solutions that support business goals and drive transformation.
- Serve as a strategic partner to leaders at all levels, providing guidance on HR issues to support organizational capability and growth.
- Promote fairness and consistency by implementing and interpreting employee and labor relations policies.
- Craft and implement HR strategies to drive performance, retention, and a culture of excellence.
- Manage recruitment efforts for exempt and non-exempt roles, ensuring a seamless onboarding process.
- Identify talent gaps, mitigate risks, and strengthen the leadership pipeline through proactive planning.
- Deliver targeted training opportunities to enhance leadership skills and capabilities.
- Develop and monitor programs that promote a positive and thriving workplace environment.
