Position: Director of Finance
Location: Alliance, OH
Salary: $180-$250K

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Lead the preparation and review of accurate and timely financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Oversee and analyze financial performance, including variance analysis, and recommend corrective actions to achieve company targets.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and standards.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with senior management to set financial targets and forecasts.
- Oversee and monitor cash flow and all treasury bank operations
- Monitor performance against budget, providing variance analysis and actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Develop long-term financial models to guide decision-making and strategic planning.
Cost Management:
- Oversee cost accounting practices and ensure accurate cost allocation across all departments and product lines.
- Drive initiatives to reduce costs and improve operational efficiencies within the manufacturing process.
- Monitor and analyze pricing performance and make recommendations for adjustment.
- Implement and maintain cost control processes to monitor and optimize manufacturing expenses.
Internal Controls & Compliance:
- Establish, implement, and monitor robust financial internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Coordinate internal audits and work with external auditors to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Lead efforts to maintain a strong compliance culture throughout the organization.
Operational Excellence & Process Improvement:
- Continuously evaluate and improve finance-related processes, systems, and workflows to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
- Lead initiatives to enhance the use of financial software and tools to optimize data accuracy and reporting speed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure finance processes support manufacturing operations and strategic objectives.
Leadership & Team Development:
- Manage and develop a team of finance professionals, providing leadership, guidance, and mentoring to support their professional growth.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the finance department.
- Work closely with other departments, including operations, supply chain, IT and sales, to drive cross-functional success.
Strategic Planning & Decision Support:
- Partner with the executive team in shaping the company’s strategic direction by providing financial insights and recommendations.
- Support key decisions related to capital investment, pricing strategies, and product profitability.
- Evaluate business performance and identify opportunities for revenue growth and margin improvement.
Qualifications:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
Experience:
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, with knowledge of cost accounting, financial modeling, and process optimization.
- Strong experience with financial systems (ERP software - - Experience with Oracle’s NetSuite financial software preferred) and advanced Excel skills..

Salary : $180,000 - $250,000
