Description
GENERAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
Purchase parts, materials, and services from suppliers. Administer and communicate quotes, sales orders, customer communications / feedback, and scheduling.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
Accurately input customer orders into our ordering system, ensuring all information is correct and up-to-date.
Respond to inquiries from customers regarding their orders and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.
Process orders in a timely and efficient manner to meet customer delivery expectations.
Monitor order status throughout the fulfillment process and work with logistical personnel to ensure timely delivery.
Collaborate with various departments including sales, customer service, and supply chain to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
Resolve any issues that arise with customer orders including changes, cancellations, or discrepancies.
Maintain accurate data entry records and ensure the order processing system is updated in real-time.
Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives to ensure maximum efficiency in the order entry process.
Input and maintain data in ERP (Computer Manufacturing System)
Regular and punctual attendance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Follow all Company policies and procedures.
Requirements
SKILL REQUIREMENTS :
Work with sales representatives and operations to prepare sales quotes, identify issues, and manage scheduling
Proven experience as an order entry specialist or similar position with experience in customer service or related fields
Provide necessary technical data and support when making purchases from suppliers
Place purchase orders that meet production schedules, maintain good supplier relationships and cost control
Maintain open communication on the status of RFQ's
Compare prices of vendors to make good purchasing decisions
Identify and develop qualified suppliers that meet company standards
Negotiate with suppliers on price, mode of shipping, and delivery time
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and order entry systems
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously
Strong communication and customer service skills to build positive relationships with customers
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
High School Diploma required. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
QUALIFICATIONS :
2-5 of working in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred experience interacting with and inputting data into an Enterprise Resource Planning Software (ERP).
Self-starter able to work with little supervision.
Innovative thinker always looking for continuous improvements.
Good team player works will with other can lead or be follow a leader as needed.
