We are recruiting for an Automation/Electrical Engineer in a manufacturing setting, this non-union facility employees roughly 925 employees and has $50M in capital projects planned.
Relocate to Indiana, relocation assistance available
This role will:
Design, implement, and maintain electrical, automation, MES, and digital systems.;
Manage capital project life cycle from conception to implementation, including procurement, programming, and commissioning activities.
Trouble-shoot issues on the manufacturing floor as necessary.
Mentor junior engineers and technicians within assigned business unit.
Candidates Should possess:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or closely related field
5+ years' experience with Electrical/Automation Engineering in a manufacturing setting, including capital project management
Working knowledge of electrical distribution systems (low, medium and high voltage installations); electrical codes and standards; Instrumentation and Calibration process
Strong familiarity with automation systems and equipment: (HMI - Human-Machine Interface, PLC - Programmable Logic Controller, Industrial networks, etc.) and Digital technologies implementation (e.g. Vision Systems, Data Analytics, Predictive Maintenance, etc.)
Project Management Professional certification (PMP) and/or Professional Engineer license (P.E.) is a plus
This position offers a salary of $120-130K with full benefits including 401K match, medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance; 7% bonus potential; Relocation assistance is available.
