Job Description
This is a permanent direct hire opportunity with full company benefits. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing and managing the SQF/HARPC and quality programs at this facility.
- Establish and maintain SQF/HARPC program documentation.
- Review Critical Control Point (CCP) monitoring and verification records for compliance with HACCP critical limits and frequencies.
- Evaluate all records for accuracy and completeness, and determine the need for process improvement.
- Develop and implement training plans for SQF, FSMA, HARPC, GMP, allergen control, chemical control, glass control, SSOPs, and all required plant programs.
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in the food industry and similar functions. Familiarity with quality management systems and good knowledge of Microsoft Office are also required.
