Adecco is currently assisting a local client in Casper, WY, to find a
- Safety Coordinator
- This is a direct-hire role and comes with full benefits. The Safety Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and management of safety policies and procedures. This role ensures that all company operations comply with safety regulations and standards, promoting a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
- Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of company-wide safety programs and policies.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
- Organize and facilitate safety training sessions, including new employee orientations and ongoing safety education.
- Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations and other local, state, and federal safety standards.
- Investigate workplace accidents, injuries, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, training, and safety performance metrics.
- Coordinate with managers and employees to promote a culture of safety and awareness across all departments.
- Ensure all safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) are being used correctly and efficiently.
- Assist in emergency response planning, drills, and safety preparedness efforts.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in safety regulations and best practices to ensure the company remains compliant and proactive in safety management.
- Qualifications
- OSHA certification is required
- 2-5 years of experience in a safety-related role, preferably in a construction, manufacturing, or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and other relevant safety regulations.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for delivering training and working with various teams.
- Ability to analyze data, investigate incidents, and recommend solutions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and safety management software (preferred).
