Job Summary: As the Director of Adult Community Services, you will be responsible for the 24-hour oversight of administration, admissions, transitions, and programming for our adult community services. This includes CSI Continuous Residential Supports (CRS), Community Living Arrangements (CLA), Day Support Options, and Housing. You will work collaboratively with various departments to ensure adherence to our evidence-based treatment philosophy. This role requires a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and rotating on-call duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative oversight for community-based living programs.
- Supervise the Assistant Director of Adult Community and CRS/CLA Program Coordinator.
- Ensure programs operate within established budget levels.
- Oversee admission and transition processes, maintaining communication with DDS Regions.
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels, training, and implementation of program models.
- Foster professional communication and collaboration between clinical, behavioral, and leadership staff.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation and reporting, including admissions, monthly/quarterly reports, ACRs, IPs, QSRs, transition planning, and outcome measures.
- Participate in program and agency leadership meetings to ensure quality collaboration and service integration.
- Ensure compliance with DDS contracted licensing and COA best practices standards.
- Maintain client records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Serve as a Physical/Psychological Management Trainer.
- Conduct research for new program initiatives and implement service systems (EHR).
- Provide supervision for all related services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Human Services, Special Education, or a related field (Master’s degree strongly encouraged).
- At least eight years of experience in the behavioral health care field and five years of supervisory experience.
- Positive attitude and proven track record of successful program implementation in residential/group home settings.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with agency employees, community service organizations, and health care agencies.
- Ability to work with diverse populations and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
- Ability to attain and maintain certification in PMT, CPR, First Aid, DDS Investigator Trainings, and DDS Medication Administration.
