Adelphi is seeking a licensed behavioral health professional (LCSW, LPC) to serve as a Co-Responder Clinician in collaboration with law enforcement in Routt County, Colorado. The clinician will respond to behavioral health-related calls, provide crisis intervention, conduct assessments, de-escalate situations, and connect individuals with appropriate mental health services. This role is part of the Routt County Co-Responder Program, which aims to reduce the number of individuals with behavioral health needs entering the criminal justice system while ensuring timely access to care.

Requirements :
Must be an independently licensed mental health professional (LCSW, LPC) in the State of Colorado
Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field.
Proven experience in crisis intervention, behavioral health, or co-responder programs.
Experience working in collaboration with law enforcement or emergency responders preferred.
Responsibilities :
Collaborate with designated law enforcement officers on behavioral health-related calls.
Conduct behavioral health assessments and determine appropriate interventions.
De-escalate crises and support individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
Provide referrals to appropriate community-based services.
Conduct post-incident outreach with individuals engaged through the program.
Ensure continuity of care and service connection for individuals requiring ongoing support.
Work collaboratively with community organizations, healthcare providers, and social services to improve care coordination.
Provide training sessions for law enforcement officers on behavioral health topics, crisis response, and de-escalation strategies.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, assessments, and service referrals.
Submit regular reports on program outcomes and client engagements.
Ensure compliance with organizational, legal, and professional standards for clinical documentation.
