Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands on Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Company’s day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, accounts payable and receivables, cash flow, budgeting, and compliance activities. This position requires a hands-on leader with experience in a mid-market revenue sized business.
Duties:
- Create a culture of financial integrity and success within the department and the organization.
- Oversee all aspects of the accounting process.
- Deliver timely month-end close packages to management.
- Provide management with analytical commentary on the Company’s performance.
- Prepare and analyze budgets.
- Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable accounts.
- Evaluate weekly cash flow to prepare bills payments.
- Evaluate and implement new accounting systems.
- Dialogue with the Company’s outside accounting firm to ensure financial compliance with various governmental regulations (income tax, sales tax, business license, etc.).
- Interact with the Company’s bank to maintain banking compliance.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in a Controller position.
- Food and beverage (FDA experience) or product/distribution is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- ERP experience is preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with public accounting practices is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Bilingual is a must (English/Spanish).
Location and ability to commute:
· In person (Ontario, CA/San Bernardino, CA), required.

Pay: $107,807.00 - $114,322.00 per year
