Inventory Associate - ADESA

ADESA is looking for a Vehicle Inventory Associate to join our Team! The Inventory Associate is an individual contributor role responsible for coordinating and tracking the outside operations and movement of Carvana vehicles within the ADESA VLC, ultimately improving the overall Carvana customer experience.

Inventory Associate Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist in assuring the inventory is always in the properly designated areas of the lot.
• Track missing units and help with a physical inventory on a periodic basis.
• Ensure stock is neat and organized.
• Act as a liaison between the auction and designated accounts as needed.
• Enter data into the CarCheck and CARLI systems.
• ensure that vehicles are at the proper shops (Mechanical, Body, Detail).
• Ensure arbitrated units are restocked into inventory and proper announcements are made.
• Handle day-to-day issues that may arise (lot damage, theft, safety concerns
• Partner with admins/managers at shops regarding any vehicles that may be missing and ensure that those vehicles are located and moved accordingly.
• Move vehicles that fail quality checks to and from reconditioning/rework areas.
• Operate company-owned vehicles on company property, but not on public roads.

Qualifications:

• Must have a demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English, with a high attention to detail.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be qualified to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license.
