Position Overview
ADG Blatt is seeking a dedicated and experienced Controller to manage financial systems, controls, and operations for our firm. The Controller will play an integral role in providing financial guidance to our leadership team, developing and monitoring budgets, ensuring financial compliance, and producing accurate financial reports. The ideal candidate is a trusted advisor who demonstrates the ability to lead and collaborate with a team of professionals.
What You’ll Do
This is a full-time, exempt position. Normal working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional evening and weekend work as needed based on job demands.

Position Overview
ADG Blatt is seeking a dedicated and experienced Controller to manage financial systems, controls, and operations for our firm. The Controller will play an integral role in providing financial guidance to our leadership team, developing and monitoring budgets, ensuring financial compliance, and producing accurate financial reports. The ideal candidate is a trusted advisor who demonstrates the ability to lead and collaborate with a team of professionals.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures and implement controls to minimize financial risks.
- Oversee the production of periodic financial reports in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Recommend benchmarks for measuring the company’s financial performance.
- Lead the development of the annual budget and forecasts and report significant variances to management.
- Provide financial analysis with emphasis on fee decisions, contract negotiations, and financial forecasting.
- Collaborate with external auditors for the annual audit and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
- Continuously identify and implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Supervise and lead the accounting team, ensuring proper staffing, workload distribution, training, and professional development.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be highly detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy in all financial operations.
- Strong professional appearance and demeanor with superior interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms across various departments.
- Self-directed, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexible and cooperative in fulfilling obligations and meeting deadlines.
- Minimum 10 years of experience with increasing responsibilities in accounting and finance.
- Previous experience in a professional services firm is preferred.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
