What are the responsibilities and job description for the AR CUSTODIAN - 4AM to 12PM Monday through Friday position at Adhesives Research Inc.?
Job Summary:
Maintains a safe and clean work environment. Ensures appearance and cleanliness of assigned area(s) are maintained on a daily basis and supports continuous improvement activities.
Essential Functions:
- Perform cleaning functions including vacuuming, dry and wet mopping, washing floors and walls, cleaning restrooms and lunchrooms, etc.
- Ensure offices, restrooms, and manufacturing areas are clean
- Order lunchroom supplies
- Stock supplies in restrooms and lunchrooms.
- Empty trash and recycle containers.
- Manage and set up the VMI’s for custodial supplies
- Writes up and submit maintenance work orders
- Participate in safety improvement projects and committees as appropriate
- Responsible for following all relevant regulations (e.g. ISO, FDA, OSHA, EPA, DEP, etc.) and company procedures.
- Responsible for following all applicable waste handling procedures.

Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Job Specifications:
- Requires minimum of a high school diploma or an equivalent of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and ability have been acquired
- Driver’s license
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
- Effective organization, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, team-oriented and able to work with minimal supervision
- Must keep customer information confidential
- Conforms to the Guiding Principles, Company Policies/Procedures/Safety rules, and Quality Systems, ISO, OSHA, etc.
