JOB SUMMARY
The Director of Program Management is responsible for overseeing the cost, schedule, and quality of a customer or internally funded project or programs. The director has direct accountability to their own individually managed programs. They act as the customers primary point of contact and must have excellent technical management and communications skills. The Director of Program Management has matrixed resources that indirectly report and have functional responsibilities including but not limited to engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality. They are to identify potential risks and implement plans with actions to ensure successful program completion. The Director of Program Management is responsible for profitable and timely execution of a specific program or programs.

- Directs, manages, and guides team(s) with technical issues, makes decisions that reduce overall technical risks
- Develops Project Charters and Program Plans
- Develops, implements, and holds team accountable to Program Management processes
- Manages and control changes to Programs
- Manages actual costs, tracking overall cost management by Program
- Projects cost and time estimates to complete, and estimates total cost at completion
- Initiates and actions a program communications plan with communications distribution and feedback
- Directs and manages Project / Program scope management and performance reporting
- Creates and monitors work breakdown structures to ensure accountability
- Controls out-of-scope activities through Adient change management process
- Manages performance to, and management of, all requirements
- Identifies, manages and mitigates the Project / Program Risk Management Plan
- Leads quantitative I qualitative analysis, abatement, and tracking of risk reduction activities
- Creates and manages Project I Program schedule with defined activities and milestones
- Leads Project I Program Resource Management
- Identifies Project/ Program team responsibilities and accountabilities
- Monitors and manages teams performance to plan
- Leads Project I Program Procurement and Manufacturing Management
- Monitors progress of manufacturing, engineering and testing processes to plan
- Manages procurement and manufacturing costs
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Maintain a safe, secure and legal work environment, adhering to all Company policies and procedures.
- Maintain and protect the confidentiality of the Companys information and products.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS Education, Knowledge, and Experience
Education:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years of direct and related experience
Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required
- Excellent risk management skills required
- Highly proficient in MS Project
- Ability to successfully interface/interact with all levels of the organization, including direct communications with executive leadership
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Experience in Aircraft Interiors/Seating highly preferred
- Technical/Engineering background desired
- Experience with global customer and supply base desired

- Extended or irregular hours may be required.

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES
- PMP certification or equivalent preferred

Salary Range Transparency: $170,000.00 - $200,000.00 annually, depending on candidate qualifications
