Adient Aerospace is welcoming back the return of our Summer Internship Program, and we are looking for Engineering Interns to join our team in Huntington Beach, California. This is full-time, on-site role, and based in Huntington Beach, CA. We look for highly proficient individuals who are collaborative, value diversity, enjoy working as a team, and share our passion to succeed. This will be a 10-week internship program, beginning on Monday, June 2nd and ending on Friday, August 15th.

JOB SUMMARY
The Engineering Intern supports the Engineer Department by assisting with key tasks and projects directly aligned with industry standards. The role includes contributing to the execution and analysis of engineering processes, while helping to meet department objectives. The intern collaborates with engineering teams to ensure project milestones are achieved and actively participates in enhancing operational efficiency and technical outcomes.
SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES - Essential Functions (Other duties and projects may be assigned or requested.)

- Conduct a critical analysis of existing craftsmanship specification documents, evaluating both structure and technical content.
- Compare current craftsmanship standards with achievable engineering capabilities to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
- Work with Engineering Managers and a team of engineers in the preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates for projects of various sizes and complexity.
- Shadow and assist engineers in daily tasks.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Maintain a safe, secure and legal work environment, adhering to all Company policies and procedures.
- Maintain and protect the confidentiality of the Companys information and products.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS Education, Knowledge, and Experience
Education:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Aerospace, or a related field, with an expected graduation date between December 2024 and June 2027.
- Minimum GPA 3.0 is required.
Knowledge:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Foundational knowledge in engineering
- Familiarity with CAD system (i.e., SolidWorks or CATIA)
Skills:
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Positive attitude and desire to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
- Strong desire to gain hands-on experience and physically interact with a product.
Preferred Knowledge / Skills:
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C#, C , VBA).
- Proven leadership abilities and a strong team player.
- Track record of academic excellence and a strong sense of initiative. \
- Passion for the aerospace industry and its advancements.

Hourly Rate Transparency: $20 per hour
