JOB SUMMARY
The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for providing general administrative human resources support, assisting with the recruiting and hiring processes, scheduling new employee orientations, assisting our training program, and maintaining HR database. The HR Coordinator serves in a hands-on role providing outstanding service and support to our Human Resources Director and the team at Adient Aerospace. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and passionate about making things better for our organization and employees.
SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES - Essential Functions (Other duties and projects may be assigned or requested.)

- Perform administrative work, data entry, and maintain HR data in Adient Aerospace’s HRIS platform
- Work with the Payroll team to ensure all timecards, PTO requests, and any other related tasks are completed to process payroll on a biweekly basis
- Review and approve all temporary agency invoices for Accounts Payable to process
- Process new hire paperwork and ensure new hire I-9 compliance and maintenance of current I-9’s
- Process new hire, transfer, promotion, and termination paperwork with absolute accuracy for reporting purposes
- Provide various tracking and reporting as requested by the Global Senior HR Director and HR Manager
- Serve as a subject matter expert on timekeeping system and provide training to functional users
- Assist with benefits and 401K enrollment, provide support to employees utilizing the benefits enrollment portal in the HRIS system
- Respond to a wide range of employee questions and/or direct employees to the proper resources
- Provide policy and procedure guidance
- Provide feedback and updates as needed to the Human Resources Team
- Perform other related duties as assigned
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS – Education, Knowledge, and Experience
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or other related fields preferred
Experience:
- 1-2 years’ experience in an HR role
Skills:
- Data Entry
- Detail-Oriented
- MS Office proficiency
- Organization skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
- Strong communication skills
- Skill and ability to work with sensitive information, safeguarding confidential information
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Experience with various HR systems such as a HRIS, ATS, Background/Drug Screen Checking and LMS:
- ADP (HRIS)
- Clear Company (ATS)
- HireRight (Background Check)
- UniPoint (QMS)
- Litmos (LMS)
- Familiarity with Federal, State, and local labor laws
- Highly desirable for candidate to be bilingual in Spanish or Vietnamese

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Hourly Rate Transparency: $22 - $26 per hour
