JOB SUMMARY
The Quality Control Line Inspector is responsible for interpreting engineering data such as drawings and specifications and inspecting in accordance with the data. The Quality Control Line Inspector must be able to use standard measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, dial indicators etc. They will perform visual and dimensional inspections for receiving, in process, final and first article inspections on aviation parts from details to top assemblies. They must be able to understand visual and cosmetic standards. The Quality Control Line Inspector must have the ability to clearly write nonconformance reports and assist in corrective actions investigations.
*This position is for 2nd shift (3:30 pm - 12:00 am) and includes an additional $2.00 shift differential on top of the base pay.
SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES - Essential Functions (Other duties and projects may be assigned or requested.)

- Interpret engineering data such as drawings and specifications
- Competent in using measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, indicators
- Perform visual and dimensional inspection
- Perform receiving, in-process, final, and first article inspections
- Perform inspections to visual and cosmetic standards
- Write inspection reports and nonconformance reports
- Understand root cause and participate in corrective actions
- Perform review of supplier certifications for conformance to requirements
- Data collection for statistical analysis
- Understand and be able to interpret tolerances
- Understand application and use of all types of precision measuring instruments used in mechanical inspection, including interpretations of geometrical and positional tolerance requirements.
- Travel as required to support suppliers or source/auditing inspection program.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS Education, Knowledge, and Experience
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
- Associate Degree is preferred
Experience:
- Position may be filled with both entry level and experienced candidates.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- CMM/FARO experience is a plus

- Must be able to work the scheduled second shift from 3:30pm - 12:00pm PST
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Hourly Rate Transparency: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour with an additional $2.00 shift differential pay offered for working 2nd shift
