JOB SUMMARY |
Responsible for testing, inspecting and documenting the inspection of electrical components or assemblies used in the manufacturing of aircraft interior parts at all stages of the production process.
This position must be able to use Electrical standard measuring equipment such as Ohm Meter, Power supply, Multimeter, and hypot diletric.

- Interprets and reads engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, customer and company specifications to ensure accurate part manufacturing.
- Inspects, tests and documents the incoming receiving testing of purchased electrical parts or components used in aircraft interior assemblies. Testing for defects such as assembly, soldering, crimping, wire stripping, and bonding.
- Able to write inspection reports and Non-conformance reports
- Ensures quality standards are understood and maintained.
- Documents the testing of aircraft interior electrical products and components at various stages of production for dimensional, electrical and mechanical characteristics.
- Inspects and calibrates precision measuring equipment used to measure electrical characteristics using NIST traceable calibration standards.
- Inspects and documents electrical products for proper packaging for shipment.
- Travel as required to support suppliers or source/auditing inspection program.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS – Education, Knowledge, and Experience |
Education:
- A High School Diploma is desired.
- A two-year college (associate degree), Trade/Technical School or certification is desired.
Experience:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of direct experience
