Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CAD Designer to join our team. The CAD Designer will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for mechanical designs using various software tools.
Responsibilities
- Utilize CAD software to create detailed 2D and 3D drawings for mechanical designs
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements
- Ensure designs comply with industry codes and standards
- Perform design modifications based on feedback and requirements
- Create accurate bills of materials for production
- Assist in the development of prototypes and testing procedures
Requirements
- Proficiency in CAD software such as Inventor, Creo, and Revit
- Strong mechanical knowledge to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with Bluebeam software for document management
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional teams
- Experience in mechanical design within an engineering environment
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $29.00 - $30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
