Job Title: Birth Registrar
Location: Pittsfield, MA
Job Summary:
This role involves completing birth certificates and fetal death certificates within the birth Unit. The candidate will also assist the unit administratively, performing secretarial duties as required.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3 years of current experience as an office registrar.
- Certifications:
- MA Notary: MUST be bonded/insured and include this in your profile. This is a requirement in order to present the traveler to the client.
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
Skills:
- Ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks daily to meet department needs.
- Knowledge of Meditech, Excel, and Word is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in comprehending, speaking, and writing in English.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Physical: Must possess the necessary sight and hearing senses or use prostheses to ensure the requirements of the position can be met.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
