What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mailroom Clerk position at ADIENTONE INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED?
Resource's typical working day: * Office Mail Room in large building
- Deliver mail, packages, copy products and stationery to assigned groups/ locations, as per the daily schedule.
- Taking in mail
- Sorting mail by department
- Deliver mail to each floor
- Picking up the mail from each floor
- UPS/Fedex ingoing and outgoing
- Ensures that all packages received are distributed correctly on the same day, or alternatively consignee advised of the following day delivery.
- Daily supplies audit and replenishment.
- Audits delivered items with delivery invoices.
- Approves or rejects deliveries based on inspections and check for contraband.
- Ensures all shipped packages are adequately protected against damage.
- Process shipment request with vendors, advising package owner of arrangements.
- Apply appropriate postage amounts and required identification to outgoing mail and packages.
- Stocks copy rooms and provides first response for copier fleet production needs such as clearing jams (no tool repairs) and determining if a technician is required.
Years of Experience needed: 1 year preferred
Level of Education: HS Diploma/GED
Systems/Software proficiencies: Microsoft Office (Outlook and Teams mainly)
Certifications/Licenses: NA
Top Must have Skills: Active role must be able to move around building, basic computer skills, Customer Service focus, Good communication skills.
Top Nice to have Skills: Office Mail Room Experience
