Job Description: As an Integrated Laboratory Solutions (iLS) Coordinator, you’ll manage, organize and implement high-quality specialist engineering and coordination. You will also assist with providing support for a wide range of laboratory equipment. The service technician will conduct an inventory audit of laboratory equipment which involves a thorough scanning of all laboratory equipment, ensuring accuracy of records, identifying discrepancies, and location of assets, improving inventory management and accountability.
Resource's typical working day: Understands safety in a laboratory environment. Inventorying all of the lab. May need to use their personal phone and download the software to complete the inventory. They will be responsible for doing inventory, scanning assets.
Must Have Skills: Organized, high attention to detail, go getters. Working in laboratories so need to understand that there are safety precautions. Worked in a lab before. Safety is huge at this location.
Nice to have skills: Outstanding customer service, some data entry.
Years of Experience: 1-3 years of lab experience. Soft skills are super important, manager is not overly concerned with years of experience.
Education: High School Diploma
Software skills: Excel

- Conduct a thorough physical scanning of lab property asset tags and assess each lab piece of equipment, noting any missing or inaccurate information.
- Record all information in a systematic manner, using the asset management database.
- Verify that equipment is in the correct location.
- Highlight any discrepancies between the physical location and the asset management database.
- Apply an asset tag to any assets missing asset bar code tag.
- Highlight any discrepancies between the physical name plate and the asset management database.
- Ensures that client records accurately reflect the actual inventory of lab equipment.
Supervision & Technical Responsibilities: This position does not supervise other employees. Technical responsibilities include assisting with conducting physical scanning audits/inventories and highlighting any discrepancies.
Budget Responsibility: This position does not have any direct budget responsibility.
QUALIFICATIONS:

- Education & Training:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience:
- One to three years of laboratory experience or another similar environment.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- English language skills.

- Microsoft office suites (Excel, Word)
- Familiarity with general laboratory safety practices
- Organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
