What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Clerk/Inventory Control position at ADIENTONE?
Responsible for packing & shipping (some lifting required) along with the associated paperwork (Excel spreadsheet inventory control, on-line processing, etc.). Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment . Compiles requests for material for lab and stock into the SOR. Coordinating with management and admin to process into purchase request. Tracking incoming material in order to complete a Goods Receipt in SAP. Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies. Job entails standing and moving.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: 3-5 years if Inventory Control experience; Basic computer skills (use of keyboard, mouse);Proficient with Excel and Word, Outlook; Able to complete on-line data entry forms; Comprehend international shipping forms. Knowledge of shipping programs (FedEx);Attention to details and diligent in updating inventory database; Energetic, self-motivated, quick learner; Can work independently as well as in a team environment; Good oral and written communication skills; Able to take verbal direction; Able to adapt to changing environment and/or procedures; Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
