Job Description
JOB DUTIES:
- Responsible for packing & shipping (some lifting required) along with the associated paperwork (Excel spreadsheet inventory control, FedEx on-line processing, etc.).
- Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment . Compiles requests for material for lab and stock into an RFQ.
- Coordinating with management and admin to process into purchase request. Tracking incoming material in order to complete a Goods Receipt in SAP.
- Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
- Job entails significant standing and moving.
- 1-3 years if Inventory Control experience;Basic computer skills (use of keyboard, mouse)
- Proficient with Excel and Word, Outlook
- Able to complete on-line data entry forms
- Comprehend international shipping forms.
- Knowledge of shipping programs (FedEx)
- Attention to details and diligent in updating inventory database
- Energetic, self motivated, quick learner
- Can work independently as well as in a team environment
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Able to take verbal direction
- Able to adapt to changing environment and/or procedures
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
