What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Operator position at Adirondack Natural Resources, LLC?
Adirondack Natural Resources is seeking an Equipment Operator to fill an integral role within their quarry operation. Adirondack is an aggregate supply company performing top quality workmanship for all type of construction services throughout the Capital Region of New York.
The Equipment Operator will be responsible for activities including operation of loaders, excavators and skid steers to aid in the production and mining process. This individual will work along with other operators and a site superintendent to complete assigned tasks. This person is also expected to have a thorough understanding of the equipment and assist in maintenance as needed. Candidate will be expected to be familiar and comply with all MSHA, OSHA and company safety policies. Prompt and reliable attendance is a must.
A minimum of 3 years industry experience is required. Candidate shall be experienced in routine operating functions, demonstrate a willingness to work well with others, exhibit good attention to detail and safety, and have the ability to follow through on orders and directives.
