RESPONSIBILITIES
- Keeping all IT systems (software, hardware, etc.) always working, by selecting the best providers to keep systems running 24/7
- Determining the maintenance and growth needs of the network
- Working closely with the Operations Management Team to determine priorities and ensure the correct functioning of the restaurant’s equipment and systems.
- Creating and administering disaster plans that will keep the restaurants open and the company functional in the event of a crisis.
- Maintaining up-to-date systems and software programs.
- Contacting vendors to obtain quotations needed.
- Following companies’ procedures during negotiations with suppliers to get the best conditions and ensure quality work from third-party companies.
- Assisting users with technical support and troubleshooting computer problems
- Anticipate and report the cost of replacing/upgrading systems items (software & hardware)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or Associated Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Comprehensive understanding of network architecture
- Working knowledge of relevant operating systems, software, and hardware.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Keen attention to details
- Good organization, time management, and prioritization skills are required.
- Efficient troubleshooting abilities
- Effective communication skills, including speaking, writing, and active listening.
- Great customer service and interpersonal skills
- 2 years of experience in IT support.
- QSR or Retail experience is a big plus.
