Job Summary:
The Contract Specialist will be responsible for overseeing, reviewing, and negotiating all contracts within Adistec. The role requires ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and international regulations, with a focus on Latin American and Caribbean markets. The Contract Specialist will work closely with various departments to draft, review, and finalize contracts, ensuring that they align with the company's goals and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, analyze, and negotiate all contracts related to the business unit, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Draft, review, and finalize contracts for various business operations, including vendor agreements, client contracts, and other legal documents.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure that contracts align with company objectives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and international regulations, particularly in Latin America and the Caribbean.
- Provide guidance and recommendations to senior management on contract terms, potential risks, and negotiation strategies.
- Develop and maintain a contract management system to track contract status, renewals, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure timely execution of contracts and manage contract renewals or amendments as needed.
- Liaise with external legal counsel when necessary to address complex legal issues.
- This position might perform other duties as required.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must be Bilingual (English-Spanish); Trilingual a plus (Portuguese).
- MUST HAVE 3 YRS of Experience in technology contract negotiations is required.
- Proven knowledge of Latin American and Caribbean national regulations.
- Extensive knowledge of applicable federal and state regulations and the ability to stay current on regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
- Three years of related experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Travel at least 30% of the time.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6 p.m.
