Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts analyses of real-world databases using Aetion platform including burden of illness, treatment patterns, and outcomes
- Designs, or contributes to a design of, observational studies for descriptive and comparative objectives by creating or revising protocols and analysis plans
- Creates summaries of study results, assists with abstract and manuscript preparation
- Supports development of Aetion ecosystem and rapid analytics by creating libraries of measures and cohorts and educating colleagues on Aetion use; assists with analysis QC for other analysts
- Conduct and summarize literature searches and review articles as appropriate for successful design and interpretation of observational studies
- Works with study requestors to create the most efficient execution plan in Aetion based on the study objectives
- Works independently and efficiently to meet aggressive timelines where needed, adapts to rapidly changing priorities
- Understands and apply state-of-the-art epidemiologic methods, including propensity score analyses, and analyses of health resource use and healthcare costs
- Master’s degree in Epidemiology, Health Services Research, Public Health, Biostatistics, or related field
- 2 plus years of experience working directly with large healthcare datasets using Aetion platform; additional experience in R and SAS is preferred
- Experience in the design, execution, and analysis of epidemiology studies within a pharmaceutical drug development or health outcomes support or consulting health care setting
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to work independently; experience working in multi-disciplinary teams preferred
- Publication record in observational research
- Aetion platform experience is a must
- Methods of observational research / real-world data studies in US healthcare databases (Real world data (RWD), RWE or real-world evidence, epidemiology, propensity score, health outcomes research, Database studies and analysis, Claims data analysis
- Master's level education
- Aetion platform experience
