Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Epidemiology Analyst with expertise in real-world data analytics using the Aetion platform. This role involves conducting observational studies, analyzing healthcare data, and contributing to scientific publications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in epidemiology, public health, or biostatistics and be proficient in working with large healthcare datasets.
- Conduct real-world database analyses using the Aetion platform, including burden of illness, treatment patterns, and outcomes
- Design or contribute to the design of observational studies for descriptive and comparative objectives by creating or revising protocols and analysis plans
- Create summaries of study results and assist with abstract and manuscript preparation
- Support the development of the Aetion ecosystem and rapid analytics by creating libraries of measures and cohorts and educating colleagues on Aetion use
- Conduct and summarize literature searches and review articles for successful design and interpretation of observational studies
- Work independently and efficiently to meet aggressive timelines and adapt to rapidly changing priorities
- Master’s degree in Epidemiology, Health Services Research, Public Health, Biostatistics, or related field
- 2 years of experience working directly with large healthcare datasets using the Aetion platform; additional experience in R and SAS is preferred
- Experience in the design, execution, and analysis of epidemiology studies within a pharmaceutical drug development or health outcomes support or consulting healthcare setting
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to work independently; experience working in multi-disciplinary teams preferred
- Publication record in observational research
- Aetion platform experience is a must
