What You Will Accomplish:
- Project Planning and Coordination: Drive the successful planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale cloud migration projects. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies. Facilitate cross-functional alignment, ensuring technical solutions meet business requirements.
- Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of goals, risks, and progress. Collaborate with Engineering and CPE Teams to implement cloud-native architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and risk assessments.
- Resource Management: Coordinate resources and manage project schedules to ensure efficient allocation and utilization of team members.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and roadblocks to ensure on-time delivery. Monitor and report on project progress, highlighting any issues or deviations from the plan (RAID log generation and resolution, etc).
- Technical Understanding: Maintain a strong understanding of AWS services and cloud infrastructure concepts to effectively coordinate technical projects.
What You Will Bring:
- 5-7 years of experience in technical project management, with a solid understanding of the functional interface between software development and infrastructure (Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification preferred).
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical details into business insights.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure while maintaining a good sense of humor - be flexible and understanding.
- Proven experience managing large-scale cloud migration and/or modernization projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), cloud-native architectures, and infrastructure automation tools.
- Experience working with teams using modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and a high-level understanding of Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects on time and within budget via a strong knowledge of project management principles, practices, and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban, PMI).
