Responsibilities:
- Room patients and handle documentation accurately and promptly.
- Coordinate patient care according to physician directives and company policies.
- Prepare, restock, and sanitize examination rooms and other patient care areas.
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, and manage scheduling, phone inquiries, and payments.
- Attend required meetings and participate in team and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Certified Medical Assistant is a plus.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer skills
- At least one year of experience in a medical office; pediatric experience is a plus.
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR); experience with AthenaOne is a bonus.
- Multilingual skills, especially Spanish, are highly valued.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand or stoop for extended periods.
- Some mild physical labor and occasional heavy lifting (e.g., infants, toddlers).
- Exposure to various medical elements, including blood and chemicals.
Compensation Offered (negotiable, dependent upon experience):
Hourly - Hourly Plan, 23.00 USD Hourly
