What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician 1st Shift position at Adkev, Inc?
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The basic function of the Maintenance Technician is to repair, adjust and maintain the operating condition of tools, manufacturing equipment and assemblies. This position will diagnose PLC’s and repair electronics and robotics.
RESPONSIBILITY AND DUTIES
- Perform monthly preventative maintenance checks on forklifts and tool room equipment
- Perform bi-monthly preventative maintenance checks on molding press filters
- Check or test the following every three months: fire pump and sprinkler system, emergency light, water separator at air compressor, air compressors oil level, sub pump in trench
- Drain water in airline every 3 months
- Grease water pumps
- Monitor and assist in annual maintenance tests performed by outside contractors; back flow test, sprinkler system check, fire extinguisher check
- Maintain lawnmowers
- Assist in installation of new machinery
- Repair production equipment and assembly fixtures
- Complete maintenance logs
- Repair heating and cooling systems
- Operate forklift
- Operate some metal working and welding machines
- Maintain 5S
- Adhere to Adkev, Inc. policies, procedures and instructions
- Adhere to Adkev, Inc.’s No Fault Attendance policy
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

- Programmable logic controllers: 3 years (Preferred)
