Landscape Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. This role involves performing various tasks to enhance and maintain the aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial properties. The Landscape Technician will work with a variety of tools and equipment to ensure that landscapes are healthy, beautiful, and functional.

Duties

• Perform tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth and maintain safety.
• Execute mowing tasks to keep lawns neat and well-maintained.
• Conduct groundskeeping activities, including weeding, mulching, and planting.
• Utilize power tools effectively for various landscaping tasks.
• Dig holes for planting trees, shrubs, and flowers as needed.
• Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscapes.
• Assist in hardscape projects such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Carry out regular landscape maintenance duties to uphold property standards.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.

Requirements

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance or related fields is preferred.
• Knowledge of tree trimming techniques and groundskeeping practices.
• Familiarity with operating power tools safely and effectively.
• Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment maintenance is a plus.
• Ability to dig and perform physical labor for extended periods.
• Understanding of irrigation systems and hardscape installation is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Job Type: Seasonal

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
