What are the responsibilities and job description for the Process Technician 2nd Shift position at Adler Pelzer Group?

Adler Pelzer Group - a growing global Tier One supplier of Acoustic and Soft Trim products to the automotive industry is seeking motivated and committed Process Technicians for the manufacturing operations in Athens, TN (off of I-75 freeway between Chattanooga and Knoxville).
The Process Technician leads all activities related to equipment reliability and improvement, develops new tools for tracking and analysis of equipment failures, and takes a proactive approach to equipment reliability and improvement.
Duties and Requirements of the Job
- Ability to support Engineers with tool design reviews on new builds.
- Evaluate existing processes, identify bottlenecks, and develop strategies to improve efficiency and productivity through data analysis and process modeling.
- Analyze processes and identify opportunities for cost reduction through optimization.
- Work closely with production teams, maintenance personnel, and quality control teams to ensure seamless process execution.
- Ability to ensure adherence to safety regulations and procedures, identifying potential hazards and implementing preventative measures.
- Mechanical & Electrical aptitude.
- Familiar with robots, able to move or adjust moves.
- Familiar with PLC programming & vision systems.
- Ability to learn to run equipment or lines to train production personnel.

Payrate is approximately $26-28/HR (Payrate may change depending on experience)
