The Web Content and Digital Experience Manager is responsible for overseeing Adler University's web ecosystem, ensuring a seamless and engaging online experience for prospective students, current students, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders. This role will play a lead role in website content strategy, user experience improvements, and digital analytics while collaborating with internal stakeholders to align the University's digital presence with strategic goals. The manager will also handle day-to-day site maintenance, update web content, and implement digital best practices to enhance engagement and visibility. The Web Content and Digital Experience Manager should be located, or willing to relocate, to the Chicago or Vancouver campus.
Education / Experience :
A bachelor's degree in digital communications, web development, marketing, or a related field is required.Minimum of five years of professional experience working with website development, digital content, and analytics in a higher education, corporate, or nonprofit setting.Knowledge of WordPress site editing and Gutenberg visual builder, ACA / ADA compliance, and Google Analytics is required. Experience with SEO, Marketing Cloud, Mail Chimp, and Adobe Suite (InDesign, Workfront) preferred.Knowledge, Skill, Ability
Strong understanding of website management and user experience (UX).Ability to analyze web traffic and digital engagement to inform web strategy and improvements.Experience with SEO, metadata, Google Analytics / Tag Manager, and other tracking tools to optimize content performance.Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and best practices for inclusive digital experiences.Ability to collaborate with designers, content creators, and technical teams / vendors to improve digital experiences. Website Management & Optimization (50%)
Manage day-to-day updates and maintenance of the University's website to ensure content is accurate, clear, and aligned with institutional priorities.Collaborate with external vendors to support lead generation, web maintenance, security, ongoing improvements for performance, and mobile responsiveness.Ensure SEO best practices are followed - metadata optimization and improving search engine rankings - and ensure website accessibility compliance, aligning with WCAG and other industry standards.Work with campus stakeholders on content development and integration with institutional platforms.Collaboration & Digital Marketing Support (30%)
Collaborate with communications, marketing, admissions, advancement, and academic teams to implement digital initiatives.Assist in the creation and integration of landing pages, microsites, and digital campaigns to support University goals.Ensure website content is consistent with branding and messaging strategies.Provide HTML support for email campaigns, ensuring proper formatting, functionality, and alignment with brand and editorial standards.Digital Analytics & Strategy (20%)
Develop and deliver regular reports on website analytics, conversions, and user experience trends to support decision-making.Refine digital strategies in collaboration with internal stakeholders and vendors to align with institutional goals.Expected Salary Range : $75,000-$90,000
