RESPONSIBILITIES :
Leading full lifecycle internal cross-functional system and process implementations, as well as Lean Six Sigma process improvement projects for internal Insurance Services clients.Manage all project phases, including Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring, Control and ClosureWork on concurrent projects of high complexity and direct day-to-day activities of projects as well as staff in a diverse matrixed organizationCreate project plans, including deliverables, activities, communication, timelines, risks and budgets - following our project standard while helping to continuously improve the standardEnsure milestones are successfully met through oversight of project vehicles and coordination of resourcesWork collaboratively with other teams impacting the project while developing rapport and building long-lasting positive business relationshipsLead communication with stakeholders from all levels of the organization and team members through completion of the projectsDirect project timeliness and budgetsAssess, manage, resolve and escalate (if necessary) risks and issues with a focus on our agency's overall risk management and business continuityEmploys highly developed consultative skillsTailor processes to meet the needs of individual projects and demonstrate flexibility if parameters changeMake decisions based on information and input in a timely and - where applicable - in a collaborative mannerProvide analysis of project, including business case, ROI and post-project reviewLeverage PMI Project Management and Lean Six Sigma methodologies and toolsDrive innovation, best practices and achievement of strategic objectivesQUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED :
Bachelor's degree in Business AdministrationPMP or equivalent professional project management certificationAt least five years of experience leading projectsExperienced in managing medium to large cross-functional and / or multi-year projectsExtensive experience with project management tools and structured methodologiesMust be comfortable working with executive stakeholders as well as with large and diverse teamsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCollaborative approach to workPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS : Preference will be given to candidates who have the following :
Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certificationExperience in Change ManagementExperience in Business Continuity and Risk ManagementAdvanced knowledge of insurance industry and / or related company productsAbility to effectively communicate with multiple functions / organizations to identify and negotiate required resourcesExcellent negotiation, communication, presentation and facilitation skillsAbility to interface with and present to all levels of the organizationAbility to effectively and collaboratively manage across formal organizational linesStrong team leadership and ability to delegate responsibility to all levels of the project team while holding the team accountable for deliverablesExpertise with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and Visio, proficiency in use of SmartsheetCommitment to being accountable for resultsProven track record of building relationships both internally and externallyStrong focus on client service (internal and external clients)Ability to think independently and make decisionsStrong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to workYOU'LL LOVE WORKING HERE BECAUSE YOU CAN :
