Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will support the business development team in identifying new business opportunities, conducting market research, and maintaining client relationships. You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and reports, as well as coordinating meetings and events. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical sales skills and have experience in the construction/engineering industry and/or experience selling to local and state government entities. You will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence and achieving our business objectives.
Duties
- Support billable staff's needs in pursuit of business goals.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
- Foster and maintain good relationships with current and potential clients.
- Maintain and update client databases.
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, and appointments.
- Prepare and distribute marketing materials and communications.
- Track and report business development activities and results.
- Provide administrative support to the business development team.
- Set up ADR's materials and staff our positions at trade shows, conferences, and events.
- Develop a working knowledge of ADR's services and abilities.
Experience
- Proven experience in sales management or business development, preferably in an engineering or construction field.
- Familiarity with account management principles and government sales processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
