At NGWA we work closely with our members to protect one of our most valuable resources, groundwater. Every employee at NGWA plays a role to help promote the responsible development, management, and use of water.
We are seeking a Business Development Specialist to join our team. Your role will be to drive business growth through identifying new sales leads, developing business relationships, and maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
The successful applicant will be self-motivated and love problem solving. They will have excellent customer service and account management skills and be able to meet and exceed sales targets.
What You Will Do:
- Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on prospective clients needs.
- Develop relationships with prospective clients while maintaining existing client relationships
- Utilize knowledge of market trends and sales techniques to present innovative ideas and solutions to potential clients
- Close sales deals effectively
- Collaborate with the management team to ensure that requirements are met
What You Will Bring:
- Proven track record of success in business development, sales or account management, preferably in the construction, property management, or related industry
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred
- Two - three years of experience in sales is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
