We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our financial team. This role is crucial in maintaining the financial health of our organization by managing and processing incoming payments effectively and efficiently. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to resolving payment issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review daily, weekly, and monthly financial records to ensure all deposits, withdrawals, and transfers are accounted for correctly.
- Identify discrepancies between branch reports and financial records, taking immediate steps to resolve issues.
- Collaborate closely with branch managers and staff to gather necessary data and ensure proper financial reporting.
- Generate and submit timely reconciliation reports to upper management.
- Monitor and track branch cash flow to ensure efficient financial management and prevent errors.
- Maintain thorough records of all reconciliations, ensuring documentation is organized and up to date.
- Support branch staff in training on best practices for cash handling and financial reporting.
- Assist with audits and internal reviews as needed.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- At least 3 years of experience in financial reconciliation or accounting.
- Excellent attention to detail and a passion for accuracy in financial processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel (experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle is a plus).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
