About You

You are a motivated and experienced physical security systems expert. You can easily manage and navigate access control, video management, visitor management, intrusion detection, and intercom systems. You are a team player who can work collaboratively with clients’ Police and Information Technology Departments to support services within a university environment. You are comfortable working a hybrid schedule with three days in the office and two days remote.

Responsibilities

  • Administer a C-Cure Access Control System and a Genetec Video Management System (certifications in these systems are a plus)
  • Work collaboratively with the ADRM Team, Client, IT Departments, End Users, and Systems Integrator to ensure successful implementation and operations of systems
  • Manage service tickets from creation to completion, including an inspection of work performed
  • Prepare reports on system health and availability
  • Perform tests to ensure systems are functioning properly
  • Support client on-call rotation as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements :

  • Bachelors degree or better in Emergency Management or related field preferred
  • Certification in multiple access control and video management solutions – C-Cure and Genetec are a plus.
  • Experience and expertise with Windows OS Management, Active Directory, Networking, Firewalls, Virtual Machines, and Office 365.
  • Experience implementing security systems a plus
  • The ability to work both independently and in a team oriented collaborative environment is essential
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organization skills
  • Must be able to walk long distances during site visits and safely lift and carry objects weighing up to 20 pounds as needed
  • Ability to maintain professional and positive behavior
