ADS Services is actively seeking a Outside Sales Rep in the Midland, Odessa (Permian) basin.
This position is responsible for establishing and expand relationships with customers, while promoting and selling the company’s products and services in the Odessa - Permian Basin and Panhandle of TX areas.
This role involves identifying opportunities for expansion, maintaining effective communication with customers, and overseeing all customer interactions. Additionally, the Sales Representative provides insights on market trends to support product improvements and R&D initiatives, as well as contributing to pricing strategies, technical proposals, and budget planning.
The ideal candidate is someone local to the area, who has done the work that we cater to, and with contacts at both operators and service companies.
Role and Responsibilities
- Maintain and build strong customer relationships.
- Advise on and oversee all critical customer correspondence.
- Identify market trends and potential new customers for future tenders.
- Participate in and lead customer pricing and technical tender structures.
- Analyze and provide feedback on lost tenders to improve future bids.
- Troubleshoot customer issues and deliver effective solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer product and service needs are met.
- Present new products and services to customers.
- Monitor critical projects to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled.
- Manage MSA/AVL processes to ensure eligibility for tendering opportunities.
Qualifications
- Exiting relationships with drilling industry.
- Knowledge of Drilling operations and or valve sales.
- Skilled negotiator and strong interpersonal skills.
- Relationship builder.
- Experience with Valves, hydraulics, electrical and software for quotation.
- Can create complicated tenders.
- Proven project management ability.
- Excel and tendering analysis.
- Good presentation skills
- Basic Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Relationship building skills
- Solid understanding of the market and competitors
