The Graphic Designer / Content Developer is responsible for creating exceptional digital products that communicate effectively and produce results for ADsmith and our clients. The Designer/Content Developer will collaborate with our seasoned Graphic Designers and Studio Manager. This position requires supporting our team in generating content. Examples of creative content include digital ads, social media graphics & Reels, website design, and general design projects like print materials and video editing. There will also be opportunities to support our Studio Manager at on-location video/photo shoots.

How much experience do you need?
- This position is open to new creative individuals just starting out, or those with a few years of experience.
- College graduates are preferred; however, we will be considering applicants primarily on their portfolios. Please have examples of both graphic design and video work to share with us.
- You must have a basic understanding of working with all the necessary software for design and video. This coupled with a fearless drive to learn new things will make you stand out.
- The ADsmith creative team will help you grow, but you must be self-motivated to learn fast.
What we are looking for:
- Strong understanding of design principles; can bring together lines, colors, shapes, spaces, textures, typography, scale, dominance, and emphasis to create visually appealing and well-structured designs.
- Is both creative and innovative.
- Understands the importance of building or maintaining brand identity and integrity.
- Has a strong understanding of social media content for various platforms.
- Solid skills in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
- Experience in Adobe After Effects or similar is a plus, as is experience in Figma.
- Video Editing Skills – The candidate must have video editing experience in – or able to quickly learn and master – Photoshop, Illustrator, MS Word, Excel, Adobe Premiere, Audition and After Effects
- Experience in posting social content would be a plus.
- The ability to write some social/digital content would be a plus but is not required.
- An understanding of digital mediums and willingness to learn new platforms is a must.
- Pays attention to details.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to read, interpret documents, write, and communicate verbally and in writing.
- Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
- Ability to reach, stand, stoop, and lift up to 10 lbs.
- Ability to type on a computer keyboard and operate office equipment, including telephone.
Office Hours:
M-F 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (may office from home up to 3 days per week after initial onboarding period and approval to move to WFH status. Typically takes between 4 to 12 months)
Compensation & Benefits:
ADsmith maintains a progressive wage and salary plan to attract, retain, and motivate competent employees. ADsmith compensates employees based on:

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $35,000 to $45,000 per year, pending experience.
