Adsync Technologies, Inc., is currently seeking an experienced Administrative Management Specialist. This position will support the Center for Security Forces (CENSECFOR). The work location for this position will be at CENSECFOR Headquarters in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
This position provides necessary administrative and management support for a wide variety of command programs; coordination with the subordinate commands, detachments, and learning sites; and other associated duties relative to the administration of an activity with eighteen (18) training locations. While working in proximity to other administrative personnel, both military and government civilian. The individual will assist with presentation, protocol, operational, or administrative tasks to support the CENSECFOR senior leadership.
The Administrative Management Specialist performs the following duties:
· Drafts and prepares, in proper format, correspondence, directives and various forms for signature.
· Make travel arrangements and prepare travel orders.
· Assist and plan CENSECFOR hosted conferences to include staff briefings, conference logistics directly supporting the Command Triad.
· Maintains the Commanding Officer’s and Executive Director’s calendars.
· Maintains the Center’s calendar and the scheduling of the Audi Bridge Calendar.
· Provides expert advice to office staff regarding preparation and formatting newsletters, brochures, flyers, using desktop publishing and other software.
· Manages the Command’s Incentive Award Program for military and civilian personnel.
· Ability to perform duties of an Office Manager; exercise discretion and independent judgement with respect to matters of significance with the HQ office.
Qualifications
· Minimum of three (3) years of direct experience in Navy administration OR a minimum of twelve (12) years of experience in the Navy or Marine Corps administrative environment
· Minimum of five (5) years at an Executive Level within the Navy or Marine Corps administrative environment; of the 5 years three (3) years need to be recent.
Education
· Bachelor’s degree
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Advanced knowledge: Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Microsoft Project
· Ability to work independently.
· Excellent oral and written communication
· Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
· Excellent analytical/critical thinking skills.
· Strong work ethics
