Job Summary
The Pricing Administrator coordinates the review, approval, assignment and communication of pricing for all ADTRAN products and services into all markets worldwide. All pricing is maintained by the Pricing Administrator in ADTRAN's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. ADTRAN relies on the accuracy of this data for financial reporting, order administration, revenue forecasting, audit purposes, etc. Customer databases are maintained based on the information the Pricing Administrator communicates.

Job Summary
The Pricing Administrator coordinates the review, approval, assignment and communication of pricing for all ADTRAN products and services into all markets worldwide. All pricing is maintained by the Pricing Administrator in ADTRAN's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. ADTRAN relies on the accuracy of this data for financial reporting, order administration, revenue forecasting, audit purposes, etc. Customer databases are maintained based on the information the Pricing Administrator communicates.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and perform research, analysis, and data mining services to assist business leaders in making decisions related to the effectiveness and financial impact of price strategy changes.
- Maintain pricing in ERP system ensuring that it has been approved by the appropriate people and is loaded accurately and in a timely fashion.
- Collaborate with Contracts/Legal on sales agreements in an effort to gain awareness of all terms and conditions impacting the Pricing department.
- Support Contracts/Legal with direct customer pricing for contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with Bids and Proposals to ensure that pricing is approved and communicated in a timely fashion for bids.
- Follow the price approval process according to the Pricing department's work instruction to ensure that all activities are in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley controls.
- Collaborate with Sales Operations to ensure that all pricing discrepancies on orders are cleared quickly and accurately.
- Regularly interact with domestic and international sales teams, portfolio management and executive management in high-pressure, time-sensitive pricing exercises.
- Work collaboratively and diplomatically with other departments such as Sales Operations, Business Management, Finance, and IT to meet customers' needs and achieve departmental and company goals.
- Other projects and tasks may be assigned to accommodate the changing needs of the department and the Company.
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- 0-2 years of previous customer service experience required.
- Microsoft Office skills required; including a working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- No travel is expected in this position.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications preferred.
- Previous telemarketing and/or sales experience preferred.
- BaaN Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software experience preferred.
