Position Overview:
We are seeking a Program Developer – Curriculum and Assessment to design, implement, and evaluate educational programs that align with industry standards and best practices. This role focuses on developing engaging curriculum content, designing assessments that measure learning outcomes, and ensuring instructional materials support diverse learners. The ideal candidate is an innovative educator with experience in instructional design, competency-based learning, and data-driven assessment strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development:
- Design and update instructional materials, lesson plans, and training modules to align with educational and workforce development standards.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content meets industry and accreditation requirements.
- Integrate digital tools, multimedia, and interactive learning experiences into curriculum design.
- Ensure curriculum is inclusive, culturally responsive, and accessible for all learners.
- Provide new product training with CT Supervisor and A31 Lead.
- File all state reporting with INTraining, Next Level Jobs, and other systems as required.
Assessment & Evaluation:
- Develop formative and summative assessments that align with learning objectives.
- Analyze assessment data to identify trends, measure program effectiveness, and inform instructional improvements.
- Implement Adult Learning Plans, Mastery Skills Checklists, weekly assessments, mid terms, and final exams standardize testing measures.
- After implementation, CT Supervisor will pull assessments from students, instructors, and stakeholders to refine learning materials.
Program Implementation & Support:
- Train and support instructors in curriculum delivery and assessment strategies.
- Collaborate with administrators to align curriculum with certification, credentialing, and workforce development goals.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal education standards, accreditation guidelines, and grant requirements.
- Research emerging trends in curriculum development, assessment methods, and instructional technology.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree and license in Education, Curriculum Development, Instructional Design, or a related field.
- Experience in curriculum design, assessment development, or instructional coaching.
- Strong knowledge of competency-based education, learning management systems (LMS), and digital learning tools.
- Ability to analyze assessment data and apply it to instructional improvement.
- Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.
- Experience in adult education, career and technical education (CTE), or workforce training.
- Familiarity with accreditation processes and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in using technology for curriculum development (e.g., Articulate, Captivate, Google Suite, or other e-learning tools).
