The DDD Day Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Day Program, specifically catered to individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves managing staff, ensuring compliance with state regulations, and developing individualized programs that promote social engagement and personal growth. The Manager will collaborate with families, caregivers, and community agencies to create a supportive environment that fosters the well-being and independence of participants. The ideal candidate should exhibit strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for working with individuals with diverse needs.
Requirements
Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in managing programs for individuals with developmental disabilities. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential. Familiarity with DDD regulations and policies is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
