Administrative Assistant Job Description:
Responsibilities:
· Serves as a member of the QA committee.
· Tracks personnel first aid certification, annual physical, bi-annual TB and monthly In-Services.
· Ensure personnel records are in order and update to date per NYSDOH regulations.
o Conducts Monthly Personnel Audits
o Provide personnel with appropriate notification of upcoming required documents
· Provides proper on boarding documentation and orientation for new personnel
· Assist with Tours of potential admissions as directed by the Administrator
· Coordinate preparation of new admission room and notification to personnel as directed by the Administrator
· Assist with Social Security applications and follow up including scheduling of initial phone visit
· Collections
o Providing weekly progress updates
· Review quarterly PNA statements with residents and obtain signatures
· Reports directly to the Administrator
· Other tasks assigned by Administrator
Qualifications:
· Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
· Strong communication skills
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Ability to work independently and efficiently as well as in a team environment
· Knowledge of facility policies and procedures
· Ability to adhere to NYSDOH regulations

· Ability to multitask and exercise initiative and good judgment

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
