The Consumer Lending Sales Specialist (CLSS) position is a performance-based, hands-on, customer-focused role responsible for delivering results related to individual and branch sales goals as well as customer expectations. Responsibilities include compliance with all federal and state regulations and adherence to company policies, procedures, and practices. This position requires attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for sales and customer acquisition.
Job Responsibilities
- Customer Service, Sales, Marketing & Customer Acquisition : Actively assist in meeting the center’s performance metrics. Utilize sales tools to provide an exceptional customer experience and use sales and marketing techniques to drive new customer growth. Develop and maintain customer relationships throughout the loan process. Educate customers on loan terms and conditions.
- Operations, Compliance, & Collections : Assist in managing the P&L to meet budgeted numbers. Adhere to company policies and applicable regulations. Maintain accurate cash controls and customer files. Perform collection calls and document activities as required.
- Team & Leadership : Work closely with and support others in a positive, team environment to enhance the customer experience.
Education Required
High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
Experience Required
Sales and / or customer service experience required. One year of experience in sales, retail, banking, or collections preferred.
Knowledge Required
Strong math skills; professional verbal communication; ability to read, write, and apply complex information; ability to negotiate payment terms; understanding of compliance with industry regulations; ability to use required computer programs.
Physical Requirements
Standing for long periods, sitting occasionally, walking, bending, squatting, lifting up to 20 lbs., and driving with access to reliable transportation.
Travel
Must have a valid driver’s license and access to insured, reliable transportation for travel within the division.
Attire
The Company offers employees the option of wearing professional attire such as polos, blouses, collared shirts, and appropriate shoes.
Other
Must be 18 (19 in AL), eligible to work in the USA, and able to complete all post-offer screens, including a criminal background check. Regular attendance is required, and schedules may change as needed.
