Job Description

Team member will be required to come onsite four days a week to our Raleigh, HQ. Can work one day remote.

Job Summary :

This position will primarily be responsible for developing and scaling the influencer and brand ambassador programs at Advance Auto Parts to enhance brand awareness and employee engagement.

What will you do?

  • Be a key member of the brand strategy and management team
  • Develop, launch, and build to scale an industry-relevant influencer program to partner with relevant personalities in the creation of original content and creative campaign and promotional programming
  • Develop, launch and build to scale an internal brand ambassador program to enhance employee engagement and brand advocacy
  • Drive awareness and distinction for the Advance brand
  • Stay abreast of all social media platform trends, changes and updates to ensure strategy remains current and feel empowered to bring new ideas to the table
  • Develop, update and present reporting benchmarks and metrics for influencer campaigns
  • Develop, update and present reporting benchmarks and metrics for brand ambassador program
  • Partner closely with the Manager of social media and content marketing for cross-collaboration and symbiotic content creation and strategy
  • Create in-depth guidelines and rubrics for evaluation of influencer and brand ambassador content
  • Create content for internal brand ambassador program
  • Ability to handle crisis communications situations related to influencers and brand ambassadors, in partnership with the social media, HR and communications teams
  • Regularly collaborate cross functionally with advertising, ecommerce, HR, TA, sponsorship, and other AAP teams to ensure alignment of strategy across channels
  • Manage and maximize influencer and brand ambassador budgets
  • Manage external vendor relationships needed to run influencer and brand ambassador programs
  • Provide bilingual content for influencers and brand ambassador programs
  • Establish best practices and create needed resources in influencer management and brand ambassador program to complete job functions and scale programs

  • Certifications : None needed, but a bonus : Google ads certification, Google Analytics certification, PMP certification, Hootsuite Social Marketing certification, HubSpot Content Marketing, etc.
  • Experience : Have a minimum of 4 years of corporate social media or advertising experience for a large brand
  • Education : Hold a Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field; or commensurate experience
  • Location & Work Availability :

    This position is Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day remote), based at our corporate headquarters in Raleigh, North Carolina. Flexibility for occasional travel may be required.
