What are the responsibilities and job description for the HVAC Installer - SAV position at Advance Industrial Mechanical?
In this role, your responsibilities are, but not limited to :
- Required to assist in the Installation of HVAC equipment, components, and ductwork as per manufacturer's specifications and local codes, including high voltage, low voltage, and other mechanical requirements
- Travel to customer sites to perform installations, startup, and troubleshooting (as needed)
- Cleanup of job site
- Provide phone support for customers and other technicians with technical issues (as needed)
- Learn basics of equipment management controls to be able to start, stop, seek status, or change conditions on HVAC systems
- Communicate with Supervisor and Customer about the site-specific HVAC equipment, components, and ductwork
- Perform all duties assigned completely and efficiently as per company guidelines
- Attend all required Team meetings and Training Seminars when scheduled
- Close out appointments and work orders in Field point, adding notes and materials used
- Keep up with your timesheet and return it DAILY to the office via email address
- May be required to move items up to 80 pounds using proper lifting techniques
- Must be able to safely work from a ladder, scaffolding, man-lift, or other equipment
- May be required to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, and squat for extended periods of time
- May be exposed to fumes, dust, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather, moving mechanical parts, and moderate-to-loud noise levels
- Must wear required and appropriate PPE and clothing as necessary
- Must reliably be at work promptly as scheduled by your Supervisor (dependent on schedule, typically 7 : 00 AM until 4 : 00 PM)
- Drive safe while at work and care for the company's vehicles
